Eurie Stamps - and the public - deserve better September 19, 2020

The Middlesex District Attorney released some 400 documents on Eurie Stamps, Sr., see

https://www.middlesexda.com/public-information/pages/documents-relating-2011-death-eurie-stamps

Notice the motto of Marian Ryan's office near the top of the page:

The true essence of what we do is to protect and serve the public.

Meanwhile, back in Framingham, every Framingham police cruiser, including Paul Duncan's cruiser has the following motto on its sides:

Proudly Serving The Community

It used to be:

Dedicated to Excellence in Public Safety

but it seemed inappropriate after Eurie Stamps, Sr. was "accidentally" knocked off.

I suggest we go to Eurie Stamps, Sr's grave and ask him his opinion on these mottos. If he doesn't respond, we can ask his surviving relatives or our former and current police chiefs (Carl, Ferguson, Trask, Brandolini). I'm sure their responses will be very enlightening and extremely entertaining. Their current combined salaries and retirement pay is close to $500,000 a year.

The Framingham police department is not doing itself any favors as long as as Eurie Stamps, Sr's killer, Paul Duncan, continues to be employed. What the department is saying is that we will continue to employ those who serve the mission of the police department. Meanwhile,Paul Duncan, whose 2020 salary was $110,000, is slowly inching his way to a nice peaceful retirement.

The really sad part is that not even an apology was offered to the family from anyone in government. It's sad that Eurie himself could not enjoy his retirement or the $3.75 million award. Eurie's life was simply collateral damage on the war on drugs or the government trying it's best to prevent each and everyone of us from eating or smoking what we want.

Please do not allow Paul Duncan into any of our schools with his weapons. We now know he is prone to accidental trippings, and I know first hand that he's not capable of using their fancy finger printing machine.

On a side note, Blue Lives do not exist. Stop drawing equivalence between racial identity and a job. Your career as a police officer is a choice. Being black is not.
