At 0850, I was at McDonalds across the street, while four of your officers were at

Brooklyn Water Bagels, 341 Cochituate Rd, Framingham

working hard sucking in donuts and coffee starting from the beginning of their shift (0810).

Why were four officers from four different patrol areas converging on a donut shop in one area. Free donuts for police officers?

These officers were not where they were supposed to be. Why not? Why bother assigning them to an area in Framingham if they just want to congregate at a donut shop outside their area. Does it really mean anything to assign them to different areas if that is not what they do? I have not yet taken the time to follow Galvani, but I would not be the least bit surprised if he just mosied over to the next donut shop after this one.

GPS trackers on the cruisers would tell an interesting tale. They would be a better investment for the community than this useless albatross.

Why was the worthless patrol supervisor not doing her job? Allow me an educated guess. She was at another donut shop? May I suggest that she patrol the donut shops in the first two hours of the shift. Perhaps you could have a patrol supervisor supervisor.

Question: Do police officers get free donuts from these establishments or are they required to pay even if the business owner winks at them? Does your department have a written policy on free donuts from Framingham businesses?

It is evident to any observer that these officers really have nothing to do until such time that dispatch sends them somewhere. If they receive no calls, they get paid to do pretty much of nothing.

Send someone to time their presence there. Between 30-60 minutes.

Do the taxpayers just pay them to enjoy their coffee and donuts?

On August 26, I sent this complaint to Ken Ferguson via email but was blocked by his SPAM filter. I then printed the web page and submitted it to Sgt Donald Spaulding, badge # 195 (who apparently has junior in our police force [ Donald P., badge 327]) and told him that the police chief's SPAM filter is blocking me. His monosyllabic response was: He has the right to do that..
